The Come Up Is Real Tour: 2014

There's surely not enough hours in the day to do EVERYTHING Los Angeles has to offer. One thing we've learned being here is traffic is a bitch. A big one! Depending on the time of day it's wise to at least add an additional 30-45 min too your travel time. Why you ask? (EARMUFFS) Because traffics a BITCHHHHHHHHHHHHH. We thought the traffic back home was sucky. Nah not even the slightest compared to here. We decided to hit up some more touristy attractions before our interview with The Wake The Flok Up Show this evening. We killed the last of the fancy crossiant sandwiches for breakfast and headed out. We hit up The Griffith Observatory, Melrose, Fairfax, Hollywood BLVD and ate some of the best fish tacos on the planet. The interview with Koncept started around 745 due to technical difficulties but no worries were had because Koncept lavished us with fancy dranks in red solo cups. Once the interview with Koncept and Kree23 commenced it wasn't until almost an hour later when they were finished. Koncept is am exceptional dude and has a dope ass personality. There was laughter through out the entire interview. Which is awesome because laughter is contagious. They talked about Kree23's music and upcoming projects along with personal and career related questions. Towards the end of the interview Lil' Miss Rabbit Rye decided to throw up a piece on the back fence of The Wake The Flok Up HQ. Spur of the moment off the top of the dome.

So as you all know it was about time for some din din. Kree23, Rabbit and myself went and had some Asian cuisine while Teena and Evolve went to The Masta Ave show. Evolve was able to do a last minute set for the show. He basically opened up for Masta Ace. Yeah... fucking dope right!?!? 👌 TOTALLY! After a comfy sleep in out rental car we decided to get ready and go ahead and head to Pomona from Riverside. That tour life is no joke y'all. We got so fresh and so clean and bounced. It's a couple hour drive so once we arrived to Los Angeles our stomachs demanded Asian cruisine. Specifically Pho for a few. We went to Pho Legend Noodle and Grill. Teena and I had Pad Thai while Rabbit and Kree were PHAPPY. (pohappy) Get it? We stopped and took some flicks at random spots. There's literally art everywhere. EVERYWHERE. Due to our lack of sleep we shortly decided to book a room in Ponoma for a few days. There is so much to see here that it's a bit overwhelming but in a badass way. There is so much time but not enough at the same time. We will sleep when we are dead. #YOLO

Teena and I slept while Kree and Rabbit went to a gem store called Gems Of Plenty. Old people like Teena and I need our naps. Don't judge us because I know a lot of you take secrets naps. Yeah I know don't even front ya'll!! Getting ready is somewhat of a challenge with four females but in all honesty it's been pretty easy for all of us to get ready in such a small quarters. We all know that bitches have a lot of stuff. It's a true fact and I am sure people are probably wondering if any cat fights have been had. Sorry to disappoint but we are lover not fighters. HUGS not DRUGS!

The main focus for Day 5 is tonight's interview with The B Side Show in Covina California. Kree and Evolve both did interviews with The B Side Show, They both also performed a little for the show and their viewers. They streamed the show live on the internet which was really dope. They also carry local brands as far as clothes, stickers and even art. You can even rent a small space in the front of their store for a very reasonable fee. Supporting locals is very important. It doesn't matter where you live or if you are from there. Small business and entrepreneurs need to feed their families too. Don't forget that.

After the interview with The B Side Show we decided to get a burger. Teena's friend Kat suggested we all go to Eurekas Burgers. Now we all know that all four of us LOVE to eat so challenge accepted. For an appetizer I had a Blonde beer from a local brewery and no I do not remember the name. I will probably remember it at some random time while doing some random shit. Then we had Truffle fries which by the way are amazing times infinity and BEYOND. I would say next time though extra truffle sauce Eureka. Don't be cheap guys. I (Jess) got the Catalina Bison Burger which has Charbroiled tri-color peppers and Bermuda onion, smoked mozzarella, finished with a homemade bacon infused jalapeno jam and I added avocado and an egg because why not?! #putaneggonit Rabbit had the Pearl Street Blues Burger which had Melted blue cheese, herb sautéed wild mushrooms, grilled onions and a chipotle ketchup. Teena had the Jalapeno Egg Burger which had Fried egg with melted cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, spicy chipotle sauce, garnished with jalapeno peppers. Kree had the Loma Linda Veggie Burger which was a unique homemade blended red beet patty served with arugula, tomato, bermuda onion and lemon vinaigrette dressing garnished with homemade zucchini pickles.I am sure you all know what happened next.....the ITIS.
